We experience so many emotions every day, from sadness to joy and everything in between. This can be overwhelming. The Portrait Series tries to portray some of these feelings.
Each portrait displays a feeling, yet the feeling lies entirely at the interpretation of the viewer. Our emotions are as unique and complex as our lives. Visitors are not told how to interpret the paintings. They may realise both that it is not easy to describe an emotional world in just one word, and that different interpretations of the same image may be worlds apart.
