Losgelöst/Detached
The series “Detached” from 2019 deals with the sensation of being completely detached from the world and people. It examines the soul pieces (Seelenstücke) individually. They were drawn on old found book pages that appear as loose and meaningless without a book as the soul pieces without a soul. Strings and a frame connect them, like a spider web holds loose leaves flying by. Who knows for how long?
